Nicely level gravel sites, plenty of restroom and laundry locations and friendly staff. This city, along with Grand Junction, 12 miles away, are gateways to the Colorado National Monument…a definite must see!

Been here since September last year and we were given the option to move to the back for long term stays or we could stay were we are. We chose to stay put. They have never once been rude. Our property is safe when we leave for a week to go home. I have never seen one piece of trash on the ground the guy that takes care of propane and the grounds does a great job.My biggest complaint is with dairy queens employees but that has nothing to do with the park. Also love both the trees in my space. I have been in far worse parks and the price is great for full hook up. My cats love the birds.

Great location across from a state park, close to the river and Colorado National Monument, 5 miles from incredible mountain biking, bike trail all the way to Palisade where there are peach orchards and wineries. Oh, 30 minutes to the Grand Mesa and all it's lakes, trails, and nature. Very nice and mellow staff, they keep the park immaculately clean, it's quiet, and it's affordable. Liquor store, Ice house water dispenser, and a bunch of fast food options a 5 minute walk away. Only con I can think of is that the spaces are a bit too narrow, but why stay inside when there's so much to do? Very nice little hot tub to end a day of adventure. My favorite park by a mile, I stay here as much as I can.

Update: still great, another amenity they offer is propane refills, and if you put your empty by the road someone will pick it up in the morning and return it full and charge it to your account (I recommend attaching a tip). They also are happy to receive mail and packages in the office for you. I would also mention again that the staff work very hard and keep the park very clean! I'm at the park again and loving it.
