Happy Acres is the perfect campground! We were very impressed from the start, they provided us with a brochure that had our last name printed on it. It included a map of the campground, activities and other helpful information. We really like that there is a gate at the entrance. The owners are very friendly and passionate in making your stay a great experience; it shows throughout the campground. Check out their YouTube channel, they share their latest upgrades and helpful knowledge for campers. The sites are big rig friendly and provide big grassy areas on the camp side. We explored the little trails they have, the scenery was pretty. They also have a really nice dog park. We had camped here in May, since then they put in a pool with pretty landscaping all the way around and three new restrooms next to the pool(which are closer for campers staying in the cabins). We have nothing bad to say, we definitely “camped happy at Happy Acres!😊

This place is absolutely terrific. There is simply nothing negative to say about it. Laid out comfortably, sensibly, and in a beautiful country atmosphere- but literally right off the freeway. Easy on, easy off. They have a 1.50 laundry that's new and efficient, a pavilion for gatherings, pool, two playground areas, two areas for showers, and the sites are impeccable. Propane and store onsite, camping cabins, and well maintained facilitates and roads. The woodworking alone in the immaculate bathrooms ought to give you a clue to how well this place is put together. All tongue & groove ceilings, modern plumbing, and spacious shower stalls. These people have REALLY put together something great here, and the site prices are very, very reasonable . We will make this our central hub traveling back & forth across the country.

Wonderful place to stay. Everything is new and/or recently remodeled. The pool is very nice, and centrally located. Staff was super friendly, nice, helpful, and loaned us some equipment we needed.

My only nitpicks is our site (#1) had a sewer drain that was sticking up out of the ground higher than our camper outlet. Other nitpick is the site was close to the Interstate so a bit noisy, but we knew that going in, not a surprise.

Overall though, Happy Acres stands out - it's in our "Top 3" campgrounds (47+ and counting) we've stayed at over the years.

Sorry, no photos of our stay, but the ones on their website are the real deal if you want to look.

We just left Happy Acres Campground and we both couldn't be more pleased with the experience we had there.

Our site, 65, was great for our beast of a camper (Landmark Newport) and dually truck. We are 68 feet total when we are hooked up and we had LOTS of room for camper and unhooked truck for our 5 day stay. The grass was very well manicured, the site level and lots of room on either side so we didn't feel as it we were on top of the next camper.

The owners are super friendly and always visible for any questions or to just chat. We appreciated their kindness. You don't get that quality from other campgrounds often.

The wifi was great so streaming wasn't an issue and there are local over the air channels, as well. The Verizon service is 4G all bars.

If you are in this area, I highly recommend this Campground and we will be back!

This was my second stay at Happy Acres. Both of my visits have been just a stopover so I can’t speak to many of the amenities. However, I can say that check in is very easy, the location is just off the highway with a gas station right at the exit, and it is a gated park. As a single woman traveling I appreciate the feeling of security. The park itself is immaculate….very well maintained and beautiful! The two pads I have had were both gravel, level, and easy hookup. I would definitely recommend Happy Acres, and will be staying there on future trips. Thank you!
