It was a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. All the neighbors were really nice. The restaurants in the area were really good too!
Fishing used to be good here. Now the weeds have all been eradicated through spraying. Food chain has been eradicated as well. Way to go IDNR
Parking lot is very small and gets very crowded especially during fishing tournaments or weekends. I strongly suggest planning ahead to avoid lines to unload... port-a-potty offered.
We checked this site for bank fishing. Easy access including parking. Clean area and good fishing. Seeing 30 plus boats coming in & out there in a matter of 3-4 hours, heard many commenting it would be helpful to have a dock or 2 for families to easily get in and out & or while waiting on trailer to back in.
Best place summer or winter for the polar plunge on December 31st at noon
