Located 1/2 mile south of Huntington, IN on IND 5; and 35 miles southwest of Fort Wayne, IN via I-69.
excellent place to walk and fish... you just have to be careful because with the heat snakes start to come out to sunbathe...
We come out and go hiking out here with our kids and dogs. It’s so peaceful and beautiful out here.
No traffic and really not many people which makes it a lot nicer for the dogs. They absolutely love exploring out here.
Update Oct 2023: no showers. No plans to build it seems.
Update April 2023: they are building new bathroom? Showers?
Off the beaten path, cheap, first come, no reservations, $12/ night non electric. No showers, no flush toilets, and nasty toilets. No entry fee, honor system. No camp store or firewood for sale. No local swimming. Small playground.
