Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of southern Indiana's countryside is Our Haven, an 175 acre nature sanctuary of beautiful deciduous forests and reclaimed fields for all who wish to come enjoy its clear creeks, natural springs, and secluded areas. Our Haven has both private large areas as well as intimate small areas available for you and your group's or event's use.
A lot of hard work by some very special people have enabled us to offer a magical place to come relax, recharge, gather with old friends, make new ones, or just have a good excuse to get away. While the camping is primitive in setting, a shower house with hot water -- beautifully crafted from rough-hewn lumber -- is available. as well as fresh drinking water and toilet facilities. We have more fire pits on the main field than most campgrounds do in their entire facility and plenty of firewood to go with them!
Members vs non members have different pricing. See website.
I have a deep love for Our Haven! Beautiful, secluded and Home to so many great folks!
Great place to enjoy the land and camp. Unless you try to go to one of the festivals and make friends. The earth is amazing the people that run it there are amazing too. I would not recommend going to the festivals though. Alot of drama when I went, Kind of hard to relax around that. Should be a drama free environment but, that is pretty much anywhere you go. People are strange.
Was there as a vendor a number of years ago. I cannot wait to go back when time doesn't conflict with other obligations. It's not the thing of making money as long as I cover my expenses. The people that run the place and show up are just wonderful beautiful people.
When I was there they had a potluck dinner everybody contributed to it. They sell firewood and ice there. And people that are going into town will be more than happy at least I found out to grab you something if you're are in need. It really is a Heavenly Haven! The Personnel are very informative of their nature Wonderland.
I always love coming "home" to Our Haven. There's just something about the land that makes you feel at peace.
I certainly enjoyed my time at Our Haven. It’s a beautiful site. It has good bones and the amenities are there but just need a touch of work. I was told many of the original owners are older now and having a hard time keeping the place up. Our Haven would benefit from some new blood, particularly folks to hold festivals there. It has everything you need - showers and a small kitchen, stage and maintained fire circle.
