Fishing, a trail, a picnic tables and a restroom!
We nearly always see Osprey fishing there in August.
Very remote in middle of Flat Top Mountains. Camping sites and fishing. Rarely crowded, with plenty of space to spread out. ATV'ers will like dirt trails to the East.
601 is a Jeep Trail, do not take an SUV or small vehicle high-profile need 18in inches high to go over the big boulder rocks
Huge bears everywhere!! I been going here since 1982. We put a tether ball poll up.
I can't believe I wondered around out there 10 years old for hours and never been eaten by a bear. Best time of my life and only 9 hours away.
Most of this campground is closed! All of the bathrooms are closed except for the day use toilet down by the lake which looked like it had never been serviced! Not sure why everything was shut down as it was a busy weekend? The drive to the lake was scenic but overall I was disappointed that everything was shutdown & you are not camping anywhere near the lake!
