I never leave reviews but I think people should know also if you are looking to tent camp this is not the place. Cobble Hill campground looks so much better online than in person, very deceiving. I thought this campground was going to be so much more fun for me, my hubby and little one. We enjoyed the pool and that was about it, although they did have clean bathrooms which I appreciate. We couldn’t find the put-put course, which my little was really looking forward to. The kayak and paddle boat rentals were down because of insurance/ law suit issues. Online rules stated no dirt bikes or ATV’s allowed but someone was able to sneak in a dirt bike and was riding it around the camp ground. We went tent camping for 2 nights and paid $111.00. We ended up only staying 1 night because the tent sites were really not up to par at all. Thankfully no one else was tent camping the weekend we were so we were able to take up 2 camp sites because the one we booked (site 3) was very unlevel and covered with huge tree roots. For the most part the campground was pretty quiet, except for the 2 men that were talking unusually loud about 9-10pm that night and just so happen to be saying the f word every other word that came out of their mouths. Thankfully we didn’t live far and were able to to pack up before our second night and call it a trip because it was pretty rough. This campground is for people who want to stay long term in camper. It was really disappointing but now we know.

Located about an hour or less from Charlotte depending on where you start this place is a great place to Camp rent a cabin or haul your camper. My kids loved it especially the petting zoo. Not to mention the pool I couldn't get the kids out. Highly recommended

Great place to stay, people mind their business, nobody is really loud. Only complaints I got is the WiFi really don’t work you have to pause videos every 15 seconds basically to get it to load. Cause they have bare minimum package for like 100 or so people. Bathrooms never really get cleaned. Not really sure what the maintenance man is doing as there’s no mowing or anything currently to do so I’m unsure as to why the bathrooms are disgusting. I’m talking hair every where , trash on floors, trash bags aren’t ever really emptied, toilets clogged, out of toilet paper and showers suck barley warm water imo. Laundry room is only opened on weekends. I get this is mainly for people who retire etc but as someone who also works weekends it’s inconvenient!

I stayed at Cobble Hill for 6 months in 2023 while I was working at the Salisbury VA. I highly recommend it. The campground was quiet and well taken care of. The management and staff were always very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed visiting the goats, chickens, and ducks at the little farm they have there. I would definitely stay there again.

I rented a lot here for work for 5 months and the staff were awesome people. The campground was very quiet and peaceful. There is a laundry house to do your laundry at. and it was convenient as it accepted credit cards. They can also fill propane on-site. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was also affordable.
