Took the jeep out, stayed about 25 minutes down the 4x4 beach in a rental, couldn't ask for better time. Horses running through the roads everyday, horses in the backyard, on the beach, the sunsets are 360 degrees, the ocean is clean and there is quite a ways you can travel out before it gets deep. Horseshoe crabs, sand dollars, fine sand. This place has it all. Not to mention the lifted truck and jeep show everyday where the yuppies can't get to!

Great place to vacation. Was cool seeing the wild horses. Had good luck fishing the surf. And the beach doesn't get too crowded. We also had a good time watching people try to drive regular cars in the sand

Nice beach to drive on and see the wild horses. You need a 4x4 to drive this beach. You also need a parking pass ($50 for a 10 day pass) to park on the beach between certain dates. THERE ARE NO RESTROOMS ON THIS BEACH.

a 12-mile stretch of beach on the Outer Banks of North Carolina that is only accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles. The beach is known for its wild horses, pristine sand dunes, and wide open spaces.

**Pros:**

* Beautiful beach with soft sand and clear water

* Chance to see wild horses up close

* Peaceful and secluded atmosphere

* No crowds or traffic

* Plenty of space to spread out

**Cons:**

* Requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access

* Can be remote and isolated

* No amenities on the beach (no stores, restaurants, or restrooms)

* Can be windy and cold in the winter

Overall, a great place to visit if you are looking for a secluded and uncrowded beach experience. However, it is important to be prepared for the remote location and lack of amenities.

Here are some tips for planning a trip to Carova Beach:

* Make sure you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle that is in good condition.

* Bring all of your own supplies, including food, water, sunscreen, and beach gear.

* Be aware of the tides and plan your activities accordingly.

* Respect the wild horses and do not approach them too closely.

* Leave no trace and pack out all of your trash.

With a little planning, you can have a great time exploring Carova Beach. Just be sure to be respectful of the environment and the wildlife, and you will be sure to enjoy your visit.
