This place is fine. We came right after bad rain and the ground was dry. It isn't the ritz; but I don't think a campground should have that feel. People were nice, no loud parties. Shower and bathrooms were clean w warm water. Price was very reasonable. Perfect location.
Very clean bathrooms that were kept warm during our chilly stay. Nice clean flat campsites. Quiet area with some cool knotty trees. Golf cart rental is walkable along with a bunch of restaurants and British cemetery next door. Very nice staff. Crazy bird songs in the morn are entertaining. Bugs & skeeters can come out at night so be prepared.
Very clean bathrooms. Small but very warm and inviting. Owners are really sweet people. Pet friendly. Enjoyed our stay there so much. My husband is taking out son there for his birthday and plans to camp there. Love this place and the whole island. Everyone makes you feel at home on the island.
My husband and I with our oldest daughter and her 2 sons have had the best week tent camping at Teeter's on Ocracoke!
The campground is quiet and well maintained and the owners are very nice! The owner's are on-site and are attentive.
There are 2 clean indoor bathroom/showers and 2 clean outdoor private showers. Our oldest grandson loved the outdoor showering.
The location is walking distance to all the restaurants and the coffee shop!
I can't believe this was our first time camping at Teeter's. It definitely will not be our last!
