If you have a bad experience here, you have only yourself to blame. The owners here are passionate and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Amazing wine too, not a single one that I wouldn't drink weekly for years.... and I'm normally a white wine drinker.

I love the wine, the cute local gift shop, games and puzzles, and the wood-fired pizza! I will definitely come back!

Visiting town and decided to take a quick break from walking to sit on the outdoor patio. After 10 minutes, a staff member came out to inform us that the “patio was for wine tasting only.” He repeated this twice until we got up to leave (within a minute) It should be noted that there was not a single customer seated outside on the patio nor any we could visibly see indoors so its not like we were taking up a spot from a waiting customer.

Had he offered a tasting menu, we would have happily paid for a wine flight and possibly even a bottle to take home. However, it was apparent that he did not want us as a customer and his intent was to remove us off his establishment. We were a small group of 3 women of color and given the tone of the staff member, I can say with confidence that we would have been treated completely different if a member of our party was Caucasian.

We booked a camping spot on the Cheval vineyard through HipCamp over the summer, and let me tell you! It was the best camping experience! The owner Marcus gave us the most beautiful camping spot overlooking hills and lakes. He also gave us an exclusive wine tasting and explained how wine is processed and made. We bought some of his Syrah bottles and they were quality wines. We went back again and bought some more for family. We had the greatest time here and hope to come back this upcoming summer!

Excellent Wood oven pizza, the "sangría" is a must try. Enjoyable conversation with the owners. Although the place can be a quick bite places, plan to stay for hours because the environment is very welcoming.
