Wildlife Management Area Campground No. 1 and 2. Roughing it at its finest. Down dirt roads and through thousands of acres of a wildlife management hunting preserve, these primitive campsites are available for tents and RVs on a first-come, first-served basis. An ideal location for hiking the backwoods. A quintessential night under the stars and a cozy campfire makes this a nature lover’s paradise.
It use to be Part of a 10k acre Hunting club that was loaded with deer. Enjoyed hunting there!
Beautiful land. Poor camping area and little deer sign. Did see deer just not many.
Great camping. Primitive but if you bring what you need it's a great experience. So peaceful.
This WMA is kept super nice and has really great tracts. I've seen huge deer come out of there and will definitely keep going! The only thing that would make it better is a restroom!
