I live nearby and usually go to the Hideaway on a Day pass to use the Hot tub, the pool and walk around the whole campground at least 3 full times, It's a very nice place to meet people and also peace of mind and serenity!

Warning: This campground has a very AGGRESSIVE “No Refund” policy. Besides No Refunds, if you try to cancel or change the dates, they are going to charge you another $25 on top of the FULL AMOUNT of the stay! I would love to stay here sometime to check out the campground but I have learned my lesson about making a reservation ahead of time. I’m a full-time RV’er & they should reconsider making their policy more in-line with other campgrounds.

Just spent an extended weekend there. Stayed in the BackStage cabin. SO great! I have to say we were a bit skeptical in the beginning because we have had some bad experiences at some other campgrounds. But we had such a great time and met some really awesome and friendly people. The residents there are so welcoming and kind. Roy is so personable, and easy to talk to, George was very friendly. The food was so amazing! We will for sure be seeing you all again soon! Thank you!

This place is AMAZING! The grounds are wonderful and trails wander around beautiful lakes. The pool is sparkling clean all the time and heated. There is a large hot tub that is just as clean as the pool. The club on site is off the chain and always has themed events. I will admit this was my first gay, yet clothing optional campground and I was very concerned it was going to be sketchy in some way. I could not have been more wrong! The residents are the kindest, nicest people you will ever meet. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. On our second stay we ran into issues with our big power awning that would not retract so we could leave. Roy the owner was relentless in trying to get it repaired. He called multiple repairmen who either didn't respond or could not come out for days. He kept coming back until he figured out how to override it and force it to retract. He also diagnosed the problem as a bad relay and was right! We travel with five dogs and were not prepared for the extra two day stay. Thomas and Cecil were super kind and took my husband to the store to get our dogs food because we don't have a tow car. Eric also offered us a ride to get a rental car...20 miles away. I doubt my neighbors at home would do! There is an onsite club that is a great time and a poolside cafe that has off the chain good food at reasonable prices. It is a very private location and like an oasis in the woods. Cannot say enough good things. If you haven't been yet, you need to go. I can assure you it will become a regular camping spot for us! Thanks to all the staff and residents (and other campers) for such a great time during both of our stays!
