Conveniently located just south of Atlanta, 2 miles from I75 Jodeco RD Exit, restaurants, and shopping, enjoy 5+ acres of flat, private land bordering a large creek.
A dirt driveway off a quiet back road takes you to a secluded 120'x80' field perfect for tents, hammocks, and RVs. There's enough room for small to medium size RVs and travel trailers to pull through / turn around.
Continue down the path to the back of the property where it opens up to a 200+ year old oak tree and large creek.
A camping toilet and sink are available.
It's not a very big park but it's beautiful. Been going here for years. It will always have a special place in my heart because on the day the world trade center was attacked, my daughter and I were walking here.
It is apparently part of Pates Creek Elementary school, but if you go on a "good" day, it's not bad at all in my opinion. 1309 Jodeco Rd,Stockbridge is its address for those who probably have trouble looking it up.
I enjoyed my electronic-free break here with my babies today. And I didn’t mind the 🍂 leaves. I guess being from the ☀️-shine State, I enjoy seeing a change of seasons. My 🐶 babies loved running thru the leaves as well, and course all the exotic smells. 🦌 🐿 🐰 🐦
