From I-8 take Exit 12 "Fortuna Rd", head north to N Frontage Rd, turn left, the park is located to the right, behind Daybreaker's Cafe.
We were traveling from Oregon to AZ to meet friends snow birding in Yuma, AZ and were able to get a spot in Caravan Oasis. Due to unforeseen weather conditions our trip was delayed by a couple days. I contacted the office to see if they would adjust our time coming in, they said that would be taken care of at time of check in. Well, they did adjust the time but not the rate. When we asked more than once for a breakdown on the daily rate vs the weekly rate the response was "you got the better rate" paying the weekly rate. I would be fine with that but feel like they should be more accommodating in providing the breakdown. When we received the email it was for the total price which we were given at the time of check out. We are business people that both work with the public. We will not come back to this park based on their business practices.
We called a day or 2 ahead and made reservations, paid in advance. We get there and office was closed ( not an issue, many are on Sunday) so we looked for a package with our information, nothing, we had to drive around for 30 minutes pulling a 42 ft 5th wheel until we found a pull thru that would work. We didn't have a pool code or anything. I called this morning to let them know what had happened and their response, mistakes happen. No wifi, no cable, will not be staying here again.
It's a residential rv park with spaces for overnight parking. Overpriced. Paid $44.77 with a discount. Spot was barren ground with only outlets for water and electricity. No tables. No features. Was quiet, though.
Went to a dinner/concert. Food was great and the concert was really good. Had good seats as well.
I'll be honest, 2 years ago, I left because the place was falling apart. A friend told me that it was under new management so I came back. I've been here 3 weeks. It's great! Everything works. Plenty of space. I highly recommend!
