It is amazing we went here for 3 of July it was so nice. We also saw a baby raccoon and a mama raccoon and they almost took my phone
My cabin was burglarized and my coworker’s bicycle was stolen. As others have mentioned, the camp itself is in a beautiful location and has great potential, but it is run very inefficiently. They need to have “board meetings” before they ever do any sort of common-sense action like upgrading security or fixing the dock (which is still broken)-stuff that should just be done right away. I truly do appreciate they work they do, having summer camps for kids with disabilities and stuff like that, but the incompetence of the upper management really hinders how awesome this place could actually be. Also-charging quarters to do laundry? Seriously?
Campgrounds used for the Mississippi Gulf Coast special needs programs. Campgrounds and buildings were clean and appeared safe for all the planned activities.
It’s really sandy in the cabins and bugs everywhere in them, I came here for a school trip. On the pier my best friends phone fell through the cracks because of the huge gap in between them you need to repair that for future references and visitors. Not to mention the place is really old I think it needs a upgrade
