About Campground

Camp Faith is a new Faith-based campground located in Northeast Tennessee, in a small town called Butler. There are 81 acres to explore during your stay. So far, there are 5 primitive cabins as well as a 2 bedroom 1-1/2 bath cottage. We plan on building more as the campground grows. There will be 11 rv sites with full hook-ups very soon. There are several primitive tent sites thru out, many of which are creek side. Each primitive cabin has a queen bed and a bunk bed with a full over full. There is a mini fridge and coffee maker in the unit. There is a bathhouse less than 100' away with 7 full bathrooms, a fully stocked common kitchen, and a laundry room with coin-operated washer/dryers. Each primitive cabin would have a private bathroom during your stay. Each bathroom is 8' x 10' so there is plenty of room to get ready for your day. Relax on the bathhouse deck with a gas fireplace, rustic seating, event-sized grill, pizza oven, ice machine. There is also a stocked bookshelf, board games for the kids, and a ping pong table inside. There are outdoor games, too. There are 4 axe throwing lanes, knife throwing, darts, ring and hook games, tetherball, horseshoes, corn hole, disc golf, plus more. We are planning on having sand volleyball, an outdoor movie screen, a rock climbing wall, archery, plus other amenities in the near future. Mingle with other guests around the common firepit, which is on a small island, surrounded by the creek. Firewood is included. There is a small pond with fish. Bring your pole. There is also plenty of wildlife to enjoy. We have deer, turkey, bobcats, a random cougar, bear, groundhogs and more. There are roads thru out the property so you can hike and explore. Black Branch Creek comes out of the National Forest and runs the the middle of the property. The constant sound of water makes this a peaceful getaway for you and your family and friends. Starlink high-speed internet is available for all guests.

The property borders the Cherokee National Forest. There is a trail to a small waterfall/swimming hole. Black Branch Creek runs thru the center of the property and empties into beautiful Watauga lake across the street. Watauga is a breathtaking , 6,430-acre TVA reservoir. The Cherokee National Forest adjoins much of the reservoir and the Appalachian Trail runs along its northwestern edge. The shoreline is farmland, wooded, and mountainous. The reservoir was formed by the impounding of the Watauga River in 1948.

The property is centrally located to plenty of activities. There are several beautiful waterfalls in the area. Two are just a 15 minute drive from the property. The North Carolina line is just 10 minutes away. Bristol is a 50 minute drive. Johnson City is a 50 minute drive. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is just 45 minutes away. Beech Mountain Ski resort is only 37 minutes away. Only 5 minutes from Sugar Hollow Retreat.

Directions

The cottage is located at the front of the property (right side of the creek at the entrance). If you follow the road alongside the cottage, it will wind its way back thru the property and you will see the bathhouse, cabins and primitive camp sites.

If you're looking for a quiet, clean, friendly place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, THIS IS THE PLACE! The owner is super friendly and came around to check to make sure we didn't need anything. We will definitely be back!

We spent a week here and it’s was the most relaxing and fun trip we have ever takin there is so much to do on property and around the property. Darren the owner is so accommodating and is 100 percent involved with the campground. He is adding new sites, cabins and amenities all the time. This is a must see in Oct and all year round. The view of the mountains and lake are breathtaking. The cabins and bath house are unbelievable. Prices are cheap compared to any other campground.
