Beautiful stream next to sites . Walnut trees and the nicest host,Danny of all the campgrounds we have stayed. Price and beauty unmatched. Recommend highly!
I booked a cabin through Roan Creek Campground. It was really nice and neat. Felt really cozy. We visited to ride dirt bikes on Doe MTN. The campground was really close to a trailhead so we could ride straight from to it.
My favorite place to camp. Very peaceful and beautiful. Love the creek flowing through. Cleanest bathhouse in a private campground. Love love love this campground.
Great campground! Beautiful setting and clean bathrooms. Danny and Donna are accommodating and friendly as can be!
We stayed here for four nights in November. Very small privately owned campground. Danny the owner was great! The creek was peaceful and shower facilities were cute and clean. It’s a little intimidating pulling into the campground off of the road but we managed.
Nearest restaurants and grocery stores are in Mountain City 15 minutes away. Would definitely like to go back when the temperatures are not as cold. However, the beautiful leaf colors were amazing this time of year.
