About Campground

At Eagle Campground & Resort, we are dedicated to helping families create mountain memories.

The ATV has been a tradition in our family for 20 years now. My fondest memories are of growing up riding with my mom along the trails of the Cumberland mountains. Our family is originally from Dayton, Ohio, and being from the city we craved a genuine mountain experience, not offered by commercial hotel environment. We sought after a cabin atmosphere where we could enjoy a crackling campfire at night while sharing the day’s adventure ….and don’t forget the s’mores! We found that in the mountains at night is an entirely different atmosphere offering the sounds of crickets, croaking frogs and a star soaked sky. After dealing with hotels and places to park, we decided we needed to create a safe haven for folks like us who wanted something more. And at Eagle Campground & Resort, you are invited to enjoy something more with us. Whether with family or friends I can assure you that your memories made here will last a lifetime.

Great place to ride! I have been going here for 3 years now and love it! The units they have to rent are even more expensive now so that’s the only draw back if you don’t have a camper or staying in a tent. Still rated at 5 stars because of experience and how nice the grounds are kept up!

Pictures are misleading. Almost no shade, shower house was disgusting. Black mold all over. We had a 2 foot wide by 3 foot long strip of grass, on one of 2 of our sites. It's a parking lot. It's close to trails, that's the only positive I can say.

Camp sites lack gravel and grass and become muddy when it rains. Water laying everywhere in roadways. Picnic tables falling apart. Campground has declined in quality in last couple years. Be nice to see more investment in infrastructure for the price. In a great location near gas and food. Close to trailheads. Service at office was good.

Nice camp ground. Prices on cabins way too high. Camp site rates are better. Strict on check in and out. I'm sure they get a lot of people drinking and have to deal with a lot. There is no room for early check-in unless you're willing to pay more by the hour, even if the site is empty. Customer service from management could use a little customer service training, but again, I imagine they get all types. Most are there to ride, so hey, it works.
