From jct I-40 (exit 407) & Hwy 66: Go 4 mi S on Hwy 66, then 1/4 mi W on Boyds Creek Rd (turn right at Marathon).
Nice, quiet campground. We were only passing through and stayed in a pull through site in the back part of campground which seemed quieter. Good location and very clean!
We only stayed one night here, but the campground was clean, the staff was amazingly nice. The pool was clean. And we enjoyed great music and a good time. Some days church was awesome! The family that played just blew our minds away. Everybody was talkative and inquisitive about who we were as we had been new there. It was definitely something I was not expecting. I would say try this camp location for one night or for one week or for one month you will not be disappointed.
One of the better parks we have stayed at. Well maintained and the reception was friendly and inviting. Roads are wide and in good condition. No pot holes to be found. Sites are level and adequate for all our needs. It was nice having cable because we need time at the end of the day to unwind and watching a little TV is nice. There's a walking path that is about a half mile long, completely flat and gravelly.
This place was perfect for our one night stay! Easily made the same-day reservation over the phone. Close to the interstate. Clear directions upon arrival. Level RV sites. Lots of shopping and food nearby. Bathrooms were SPOTLESS. Definitely would stay here again!
