Camp Agawam is located in the heart of Orion Township, Michigan. The camp was previously owned and operated by the Boy Scouts of America, until 2014 at which point Orion Township took ownership. Camp Agawam offers a wide variety of opportunities for all ages. With roughly 140 acres, numerous campsites, rental facilities, walking trails, a chapel, and beautiful Tommy's Lake, this is truly a picturesque park in the middle of suburban life.

This place is great. Definitely not for the amateur camper. Large rustic sights, but when I say large, I actually mean massive. Reasonably priced and very low maintenance. A good time for the whole family
One of my favorite “hidden gems” in Lake Orion. The playground is one of the best around with stuff you don’t see at every other park. There are nice trails, a challenging disc golf course, a quiet beach that is being expanded in summer 2023. Overall it’s a must visit!
Nice playground. A 4.5 mile 18 hole disc golf course, which, as an amateur player, I considered fun and challenging, you will want to have a picture of the course map if you don't want to get lost. The campsite unfortunately had trash around the grounds and an in ground bee hive. The shower house lights wouldn't come on and one side closed. Leaving an impression that the camping experience is not on their list of priorities. I am unsure if I would return to camp at this time.
Nice campground, with some pretty cool layout for hosting large group events. I recently went there for a music festival. It certainly fit the bill for an event of this nature, with multiple open areas and a really awesome outdoor theater for staging concert gatherings...
This is a great township park. It is well-maintained. In a very nice place to camp. The fort area is really cool. I’m glad that somebody restored it. It’s pretty easy to find although once you are heading on the road back there is one fork in the road and it is helpful to know which part of the park you are going to. We hold the Michigan home roof festival there and the township has always been great about working with the organizers to let this event happen.there is electricity available cabins available and plenty of campsites as well. RVs can park back there in camp overall I think it’s a nice little place. Great job Orion Township.
