Jado campground is amazing. We have been going there since early 1990's. The owners, Kay and Doug are great and accommodating. The park has several fun amenities and it's a nice quiet family campground. The Irish Hills area is beautiful. There are a lot of things for families to do in the area.
It's a really nice set up, great place for kids to enjoy different activities, but the owner is really rude. For being a family oriented place, the owner sure needs to learn some people skills! My wife and I were there visiting friends with our daughter and we were leaving to go buy water. The owner went off on us for driving when we shouldn't have. We didn't know what was going on. But he spoke to us like we were criminals. The only reason he didn't get cussed out or worse was out of respect for our friends that have the yearly campsite.
Clean, very friendly, and very helpful. Husband had a job in area and they were closed and let's us camp until job was over. They provided cover for water so not to freeze so we had running water.
The campground was nicely taken care of. Talked with owner for a bit seemed friendly. Only con was the traffic noise from US12 and the pond was a swamp really.
