About Campground

This is a small .62 acre lot in a forested area with privacy and seclusion. Located .1 miles from Museum of Automobiles and 1.5 miles from Petit Jean State Park.

The circle drive allows Class B motorhomes or small trailers to access camping area near unnamed intermittent creek. Recently completed horseshoe court and both North and South walk in tent pads provide two new options for tent placement.

Petit Jean SP is Arkansas' first state park and is the second most visited park in Arkansas. Fabulous day hiking or overnight backpacking in and around the park. Also, nearby is a petting zoo, horseback riding and farmers market.

Directions

Take AR 154 to Jones Lane. Turn North on Jones Lane to Stephens Road. Turn left on Stephens Road and follow to end of the road. Camp 62 driveway is on the right.

Great place to stay! All the RV sites are excellent. Food is great at the Mather Lodge. Whether you like a short hike or a long, there is something for everyone.

This is a very nice park. Sites are far apart and most have a tent site site. A and B areas great for RV. C area better for tent or smaller pop ups. Lots of great hiking and the lodge is wonderful location and sunset views.

Stayed at site 72 off Bratcher Rd for two nights on a roadtrip. Wish I could've stayed longer! It was not far off I-40, but the road up the mountain is steep and windy, which would've been much more difficult with a larger camper, but it seems like plenty of people do it.

The park was incredible. The birding was great. I wish I could've had more time to explore more trails. Staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Bathrooms were clean, but I wish the shower had another curtain for the changing area. There were two showers with curtains, but I had to walk across to the changing area with no curtain to get to the towel hanger and bench.

Overall my favorite park I've been to on my journeys!
