I loved the pretty views. The water looked better from a distance, a little too warm for my liking and so much algae. The gravel bar is huge, so it was easy to find a pretty secluded spot to relax. The cliff area was quite crowded, but everywhere else was fine, especially for it being a Sunday afternoon I loved the rocks too!

What a cool place! My son and I stopped here while traveling between Kansas City and New Orleans. It was late at night and we were tired.... Definitely needed to stop, stretch out legs and nap for a bit. We found this place on Google Maps and decided to check it out. Absolutely beautiful. River was crystal clear, river otters were playing. We will be back in spring or summer for sure!
