Family friendly camping, easy access to Fort Smith and Fayetteville.
Shiela and her family were incredibly welcoming and took great care of us. The campground is located just south of lake Fort Smith and is a great location for exploring the surrounding areas. The campsite down by the creek is extremely peaceful and beautiful. Would stay here again.
Very friendly owners, affordable and widely available in the winter. many long term "residents". no excessive noise. easy access to the creek. it has a storm shelter on site. the only downside (which is completely out of the control of management) is its location below the dam and all of the dogs that run rampant. I personally enjoy letting my dog run off leash so that is no problem, some folks seem to let their dogs run wild within the community of Mountainburg, and that seems to be the norm. none of the dogs (within the park) are aggressive, just be aware you may have some friendly nuisance dogs visit you.
Nice RV park, with beautiful surroundings and walking trails. All amenities are in great shape and full hookups at each site make it easy. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Really feels like you're part of the family when you stay here. Thanks.
Very nice park with the creek and springs beside it. Very friendly family owned. Nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again!
Hidden gem of an RV park. Clean up to date private showers. Pool table in the air conditioned game room with a desk for working. Excellent wifi. There is a spring that flows into 2 crystal clear creeks we swam in everyday during the months of May and June. The camp owners are there if you need them but are really hands off and let people enjoy their stay.
