Located 5 miles from Mountain View. From Mountain View - take Hwy 5/9/14 North to Allison. Park is located 5 miles north of Mountain View on Swinging Bridge Road.
Great location with full service, tackle, shop, rafting, and fishing guides, and rustic upscale restaurant that’s on par with any other resort in the state. Wednesday night chicken wings are definitely a great deal, the specialty is really the local fish and I was not as impressed with the steaks or ocean seafood that is also on the menu.
Definitely get a table by the window, if possible for the best experience with a view overlooking the river.
Just as good as it looks... Perhaps much better. Prime Rib chilli, catfish sandwich and a double bacon cheeseburger... OMG!! Excellent
About the restaurant: This is one of my favorite places to eat and dine at. Great selection of food, large portions for the price, the only restaurant in town that serves liquor if that is what you are looking for and the great view if you want to sit outside and watch the river pass you by. It tends to be very noisy when it's crowded as there is no baffling for the noise. I'm busy weekends go early as there will be a line to get a table!
The catfish is delightful and the burgers are amazing. Homemade cheese sticks are a delight and the turtle cheesecake and Italian cream cake will have your taste buds begging for more!!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They had a decent amount of gluten free options. They were not listed that way on the menu, but the manager was happy to come out and discuss what they could do. Everything tasted fantastic and I definitely recommend and will go back next time I am in the area.
