The pool rules are a joke you have to be 21 in order to watch your younger brother and sisters swim 18 to swim by yourself. The bathrooms was nasty bugs coming out of the drain and having some lady sleep in the bathroom. The playground is broke down and we won’t even talk about the lake my son had some kind of reaction out of the lake that I had to take him to the er. Just over all not very good experience and I won’t be back.
Friendly and helpful staff. Dogs are welcome. Other campers seem friendly. Great view from our stay of the lake. Definitely out new go to camping place!!
Looked like they were trying but we won't be back. When we arrived there was a dead beaver on a picnic table right next to our site. We told them and they came and took it away and the camper next to us said it had been there for days. The kids park has wooden structures that are crumbling. No hoops on the basketball and the area we were in had debris everywhere as well as leaves and sticks. The other side of the campground we weren't at looked way more kept but also looked like all seasonal campers. Storm on Saturday and instead of waiting it out we gladly packed up and left.
Family owned, friendly, pleasant campground with lakefront. Tent sites are reasonably level, all amenities are leaky and questionable, the working shower stalls didn't look too good (there is hot water). Pool is small and dated but clean and present. It's fine if you don't need much, four stars for being super cheap!
I camp here all the time and absolutely love it. Gorgeous lake that is great to kayak on. There’s a beach that’s attached to the lake that seems to always be the perfect temperature when we go. There’s two sets of bathrooms- one at the office that stays open (I prefer the looks of these ones) & one by the tent/camper sites down the road from the park (see attached picture of the park). There is a pool, but in order for child/teen to swim, a person over 18 must be in the pool area with child. They do have pool tubes to borrow & games to borrow while camping. There’s like a mini store in the check in office. This is a place I can let my teens go free and explore the trails or go to the beach without me & feel completely comfortable with it. I’ve never had a bad experience happen here. We even rented the cabin once. The cabin is AWESOME! It has a fridge, microwave, tv, pull out couch, one bed in a bedroom on the lower floor, a bathroom with tub/shower, and a loft upstairs that doesn’t have anything (we used air mattresses up there for the kiddos). The only thing we did not like about the cabin was the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I almost got our air mattress out for my husband and I. Also, note that the water is hard. I would not drink it or make coffee with it. Even with those two things being said, I still give it a 5/5. The cabin is extremely luxurious & was a great experience- note: my husband & I had all four of our children and my nephew. The loft is a huge area. It can fit plenty of air mattresses with no problem (watch your head). No pictures of the cabin unfortunately that doesn’t have my family in it.
