This is our fourth year camping for a month at Baldwin Oaks Family Campground and we have enjoyed it so much! There are fun activities for kids with a movie on Friday night, all day Saturday with craft time, bingo with candy, free ice cream and campground dollars that he gives out followed by cotton candy and hayrides at night, a worship service on Sunday. There is a nice pool with lounge chairs around it which is a highlight for us adults and the kids, shuffle board, playgrounds, basketball, & volleyball court. We have been there over many great themed weekends, Christmas in July, garage sale weekend, and fall festival time in October with trick or treating for the kids, all of it is included with your camping rate with no extra charges! The owner Dan is the nicest guy around! He is so kind to the kids! Their saying “come as a guest, leave as our friend” is so accurate! When we first came 4 years ago we didn’t know Dan or any of his great staff and now when we come back we feel like family! There are so many great seasonal campers as well! All around a great place to spend a weekend, week, a month or all summer!
Baldwin Oakes Campground is my home away from home. I have camped here for at least 18 years as a seasonal and maybe longer, getting old and can't remember,
DAN is the best owner, he will help you with anything. He enjoys all the kids. Saturday at the campground is all kinds of free things to do. This place is so friendly.
Thanks Dan and family for everthing you have done to bring this campground back to a wonderful place!!
My husband and I came to Michigan to camp with our grandbabies and kids.
They are so nice and sweet. There was a movie Friday night arts and crafts and lots of other things for the grands, including a hayride on Saturday at 7..nice and quiet after 10 pm .clean shower and bathrooms.and you are only 10 minutes from Meijer if you if you need anything else
We will be back for sure . Thank you, Dan, for everything. It's a great place to camp .
Will add pictures soon
Dan and his team are always great to our group.
When you pull in to Baldwin Oaks, it's like taking a trip back to my childhood. Yard games and bike riding around the property. So much fun!
Their website reads "Come as a guest, leave as our friend." It doesn't lie. Very nice campground, 25 minutes from Holland. We stayed there as our son had a lacrosse tournament in Holland. Staff was incredibly friendly, even providing unsolicited escort to our campsite and assistance backing in with the claim "I've saved many marriages!" Most sites are water and electric, average width and very deep. More than enough room for our 21' travel trailer and two vehicles. A good sized pool, playground, pickleball, shuffleboard, horseshoes and laundry facilities are available. Clean bathrooms. Even the campers were very friendly. We stayed out of desperation, but will certainly consider again if heading that way.
