If you want short distance access to Tahoe and minimal people, this is a good spot to camp. Similar to country camping with little amenities. The nearby airport may disrupt your peace though.

Fantastic campground for a quick getaway near Tahoe. Excellent paved pads for the RV, great bear proof dumpsters, quiet neighbors. Loads of room between sites too. A most excellent place to see the stars at night. I will for sure have this on our next trip itinerary.

No electric or water, but they do have public bathrooms and fire pits. I saw lots of pop ups, tents and a few RVs like ours.

Nice quiet little loop, very spacious campsites. Might have trouble with a big rig here, pull off areas are a little small. No services, but the gentle breeze kept us comfy all night. Close to Truckee and 80

Really clean and easily accessible campground in a great “in-between” location that offers easy access to Truckee or a quick drive to Lake Tahoe proper. Was mostly larger rvs and groups but it suffices just fine for my smaller motorcycle and camp setup. Not many bugs when I was there in early June as well.

Friday nights offered a decent show of jets flying in and out of the airport which I thought was pretty fun, noise wasn’t an issue!

Restrooms were basic but useable, and there was clean potable water available at many locations around the site.
