We were very disappointed in this camp site. The grounds and walking trails were unkempt. When the owner ask if we would like to stay longer than the month we had payed for I told her no. She then ask why and I told her it wasn't what we thought it was going to be. She then asked me what I meant by that. After I told her why we were not happy she became very rude. I would not recommend this campsite to anyone. The trails which were listed as something to do were unkempt, the play ground was in disrepair and the shower house was locked up most of the time. When it was unlocked the hot water was turned off. When I mentioned these things she was very rude. She was very unprofessional.

We called ahead and asked if there was any spots. They said yes so we drove on over. When we got there they told us to drive down and look at spots 17-19. So we did. No fire pit and no picnic table. We told them we would like a spot with a fire and picnic table. She said you can’t always have it your way. I laughed and said you can’t have any of my money ether. And we left How rude it’s a sham because it looked nice

I found this campground by accident and it's the BEST ACCIDENT a girl could have had happen! It's a small, quiet place with only 30 something camp sites. Some are full hook up, some are just water and electric. Of course, the best part of staying here are the owners, Glenn and Pam! They gave been VERY helpful to me, when I was having an electrical issue. In fact, Glenn figured out exactly what the issue was and saved me a bunch if money! They have given very good directions, when asked and the campground is located in the country but yet close to major cities like Lexington, Alexandria and Cincinnati! Great place, great people! Give 'em a try, you WON'T be disappointed!

To be a campground less than 50 miles away from Cincinnati Ohio and a very quick weekend trip I must say that Miss Pam, the owner, and the establishment was EXCELLENT! The grounds were very well maintained and the bathroom and shower facilities were EXCELLENT as well. I'll definitely be going back there to stay for a weekend!

We popped in for an overnight stay. Reasonably priced. Some road noise, but tolerable. The campground is quite rustic, but basic amenities... but served it's purpose for us as it was 1/4 mile away from the starting point of our covered bridge ride. Highly recommend! 3 hours/136 miles of KY back roads(very good condition) takes you on a scenic tour of 7 of KY's 13 covered bridges. Pack a lunch, not much to choose from as far as food goes. Nice picnic ride.
