A very pleasant campground. It’s small and rather quaint in it’s layout and there’s nice space around your site. We didn’t feel the least bit cramped in as other campgrounds. It was very well maintained, clean restrooms/shower rooms and it was quiet. The other campers around us were very pleasant people. Also, it rained a good bit during our stay but there was no mud or puddling of water. We would definitely stay there again.
Love this place… the owner and the camp hosts were wonderful helping us get level as our coach was being cranky. It is beautifully maintained… lots of trees and a nice walking path into the woods. Being from Texas, this is our first time through Maryland, but hope our travels bring us back this way just so we can stay here again!
I can't say enough great things about this campground. First of all the customer service is top notch. We had some difficulty with our leveling system on our RV in the site provided to us. The owners stayed well over a half hour to help us set up and make sure all was well.
The campground was quiet and clean. They provided us with extra firewood and even stopped by to chat with us several times during our stay.
It is conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and state parks.
We highly recommend this place and want to thank the owners for a wonderful stay. Danielle and Paige.
This week 8/10/2023 was the 2nd time we stayed at bumblebee rv campground. Just as the 1st time in 2022 the campground ground host was annoying tell us how to set up are camper and even set his metal clip board on the hood of my new chevy duramax. We are very experienced campers. You know how you want to set up your camper and dont need someone harping in your ear on every move you make.I had to ask him to please not set stuff on the hood of my truck. Sites are not level at all. Site # 8 took 4 inches of blocking to level my camper. We have noticed that this campground saves sites to its so called frequent campers. The game room is full of mold and smells musty. Sites are small and if you have a camper over 30 ft In length there's only like 4 Sites you can actually fit in. The information online about campsites is not accurate. Going to try elsewhere next time.
Bumble Bee Park and Campground was even better than what we expected! Yes it was quiet and reasonably price but it was also clean with many included conveniences, e.g. coffee, tea, laundry facility and laundry supplies, fire wood, etc. The camp host Bill and his faithful companion Sealy were added pluses. Great place to settle in for a night or a season. Bonnie and Craig, Ohio
