LOVED this campground! The owners are super friendly and attentive and booking was simple. Attention to detail was evident is the flower pots, bathroom “extras”, and all of the well tended grounds. The rustic beauty of this place was just what our souls needed to recharge. Nearby New Germany Lake is beautiful with lots of activities planned throughout the summer. We will definitely be back if we are in the area!

Very clean, quiet campground! It was so peaceful camping there. Great price. Had a nice picnic table at our site and a fire ring to enjoy a nice fire. The travel trailer/RV sites were uneven and needed to have more modified or gravel added to make them more level as it took quite a bit to get our trailer level. But not a deal breaker, as we would book again.

Our family of seven stayed in the two adjacent medium cabins which had plenty of room for four guests each, comfy beds, and efficient small heaters. The bathhouse with plenty of hot water and heat is a short walk away. The site has beautiful trees and shade and is an easy 20-30 minute drive to local points of interest. Cell service was spotty and wifi was only available at the bathhouse which promoted family fun and lots of reading and relaxing but we could still check important updates intermittently. I would highly recommend Sleepy Hollow for a cabin or RV stay. The tent sites are walk-in, small, and limited in flat space with no electric or water option. I'm a bit of a lazy tent camper! We'll be back for some of the local events.

We spent a long weekend here late August. Our site was clean and shaded. The owner was on-site and very helpful. It's a quiet campground with easy access to surrounding, more touristy destinations. The New Germany State Park is close, with great hiking trails. The seasonal campers are friendly and helpful, if needed. The only reason for a 4 rating and not 5, is the lack of an on-site dump station. There is one close by at NGS Park. The owner said that a dump station is planned for the near future. I would recommend this campground for a nice, quiet getaway.

12/9/23 my girlfriends and I had a Saturday night stay at the campground. We bunked in the Safari cabin and it was perfect! The cabin was decorated so nicely and the bed was super comfy! The layout of the campground is awesome, with plenty of picnic tables and fire pits every which way. Definitely planning a trip back!
