Spent a week here on a work project. It would be nice if there was some landscaping… but it’s West Texas and water is scarce, so that probably won’t happen. We enjoyed our stay here.
Brownfield, TX - Buggies RV Park. I looked for an overnight park on our route from Texas to New Mexico and chose this park as someone, somewhere had given it a 5 star rating. Bad choice!!! Although it was a cheap overnight at $25 cash for a full hookup, this is basically a workers' park. There were loose dogs running around when we arrived, not a good start. Gravel and road base made up sites and roads, so nowhere for dogs to walk, apart from dry grass surrounds full of stickers. It didn't look like there were many other choices in the area, but we will look elsewhere in future.
Great place, prices and people. All connections have both 30 and 50 amp. They buried the waterline so you have to dig it out that keeps it from freezing or getting run over so if you come in at night just remember that there’s a night drop for you to deposit your money in. Use them they are the best in town next to Aarons.
Water spigot is in ground for freezing purposes and spigot leaked filling hole very quickly, coach did not like 50amp service but was fine with 30, everything looked good at pedestal???
Good spot for a stopover. They are also making lots of improvements to this park!
