Amazing experience. Gorgeous river trip. Great camping. Exceptional staff and service. One of our party's car wouldn't start and Steve and his team went above and beyond.
Couple all that with a field full of butterflies during the day and a sky full of stars at night and you've got yourself a pretty magical spot. Cannot recommend enough.
This was such a fun trip for me and my friends! We took the 4 mile kayak ride, and it took us about 3.5 hours since we stopped to swim a few times. I was the only one in my group with kayak experience and nobody had any issues, so if you're a beginner, fear not! There were a lot of spots to pull off and swim in the water and the scenery was beautiful. The staff at Buffalo Buds was great. They were very knowledgeable about the river and gave easy directions for getting out at the right spot.
Had a blasts here, enjoyed the privacy of the campgrounds. The shower area was great and even though we were there during the week we had five star service. Was unable to get ice but the owners went above and beyond the get us some. Definitely recommend them.great fishing as well!!
This place is absolutely beautiful and the family that owns it even more amazing. One of my favorite parts was Graham(sp?) the cat! Kayaking was very peaceful and saw so many beautiful creatures.
Luxury camping at its finest.... will definitely be making this stop an every summer thing... owners were very friendly and helpful in any way we needed.... Buffalo buds is the best spot on the Buffalo to stay the 10 mile float was so amazing we did it twice... it was so nice and it being the final destination on the river and all we had to do was walk up the hill... no waiting on the shuttle we were already there
