Head north 2.5 miles from exit 177, Highway 83, through North Platte. At Rodeo Rd, also Hwy. 30, you will turn left heading west 1.7 miles until you reach Buffalo Bill Ave. At Buffalo Bill Ave., turn right, heading north for 1 mile until you reach Scout's Rest Ranch Rd. To reach the Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park, turn left, heading west on Scout's Rest Ranch Rd. for 1/4 mile. To reach the Buffalo Bill State Recreation Area, take the gravel road at the corner of Buffalo Bill Ave. and Scouts Rest Ranch Rd. north 3/4 mile
