Fantastic getaway with full hookups! The owners are SO kind and truly want you to enjoy your visit. The charm of the buildings is fantastic. I have memories of this area from my childhood and this visit really filled my heart. This campground gets my highest ratings! You gotta stay here!
Came during the first year of the pandemic in a class b for a week and enjoyed it very much. Came back this Fall for a week in a cabin for another favorable experience.
I wish I could give 10 stars! What a beautiful peaceful setting in the Colorado mountains, where there’s a small rolling thunder storm in the afternoons and nice sunny days in the summer. So many extra amenities like the washer and dryer, nice clean showers, firewood, water next to campsite (tent camping section with NO generators!) list goes on but the best part was meeting the family that owns the ranch. They made me feel so welcome, like I was a family member coming to visit. The folks that stayed there all had the same happy, loving attitude. I can’t wait to go back! Probably very soon!!!
We made reservations here after a friend recommended it. We ended up foregoing our reservations once we arrived and saw how they pack the RVs in like sardines. That is not the kind of camping we like to do.
The lady we spoke to on the phone to make reservations was nice, so it gets one star. There are nicer campgrounds in the area and we stayed at one with plenty of room per site and felt like we really could enjoy our space instead of feeling like we were cramped and shoved between as many trailers as they could fit.
