Best fully accessible 5 mile class III - V whitewater at Red Bridge to Gateview. Short spring season. Otherwise the fishing can be pretty good and there is some car camping and pit toilets.
Ok, its simple. If you like the outdoors than there are few places like it in the world. Its a bucket list location in the heart of the Rockies. Miles and miles of hiking trails, jeeping and ATV roads. Fishing for wild (not stocked) trout, hunting and camping. If you don't want to see people you can get away from them, if you want to jeep for 5 hours through truly amazing landscapes then go to dinner at a nice restaurant you can do that also. The Lake Fork Valley is a wonderful place!!
Great place for a simple overnight getaway camping with your hunnie.
Highly recommend going before the busy season!
