Drive about a mille past l arch trailhead until dirt road ends. Arch is on your right. Steep 100 yd climb to the top. All but the last 20 ft doable by this 76 year old in street clothes and shoes.

Beautiful. Nice little climb. Dogs can do it easy. The climbing "trail" stops at one point and it just because rock face, it is scalable, I'd not risk it with dogs but that's just me personally. I have 2 chunky chihuahuas and 1 is a little cluts lol

The drive from Del Norte to the Arch was extremely beautiful. You hit a gravel road just north of town and is easy to drive on.

It was sunny and dry when we were there and I did see a few ruts in the road that might be an issue for low to the ground cars if it was raining.
