I do not recommend tenting here. Beeping from the nearby lumber mill started at 4am and it is extremely loud. The manager warned us about the site potentially getting wet and let us check it out before paying, but failed to mention that noise starts up at 4am. Charged us $40 for two small tents (which was apparently a “deal” they had, they normally would’ve charged us $25/tent). Nearby lighting kept the tent area bright the whole night. Lawn area for tents and fire pits is not well taken care of. The redeeming feature of this site was the well kept washrooms and showers located in a heated bathroom. However, soap or hand sanitizer were unavailable. I would recommend going to the Riverside RV Resort just east of Brookings for a better night’s sleep, better maintained lawn, and more competitive price if you need a last minute spot to tent with washrooms and showers. This place is for permanent RV users, not really set up for tents.

What a great little community! In the area doing some work for a couple months, and they've been fantastic. The assistant managers are always available to help. They were a huge help with setting up the trailer.

The bathroom and shower amenities are heated and very clean. Instant hot water to wash away the day.

Dog friendly park, everyone has a pooch on a leash.

Really quiet, and the picnic area is awesome! Come stay!
