The spot is great in the summer when there's no rain. But this is one of the worst maintained parks I've ever seen. If there's any rain you're going to have about half the holes with puddles or floods and they're going to be un playable
Pleasant walk on a warm fall afternoon. Lots of berry plants line the trails of the park. Most disc players are respectful of pedestrians. Easy walk for person with a walker/ wheelchair. Small playground at the entrance for smaller kids. Lots of dogs around as well.
Gorgeous! We just love this family friendly park so much. Not a huge playground but they have swings and a few little toys. I come for the wildlife including adorable squirrel's and pretty birds and we even saw a really cool snake last time! Also for the giant gorgeous old growth trees, beautiful flowers and foliage, great walking trails, and occasionally the disc golf course! The restrooms are very clean which I appreciate for the kiddos especially. Enjoy the sun or take a rest in the shade. We love to exercise, picnic, and play here! Another thing I appreciate is people bring there doggos and they take very good care to have them on a leash and I have never seen a single doggy 💩 in the grass or on the trails! I love doggies so much but it is such a bummer when their humans don't pick up after them and you or your kid step in it. Not a problem at Orchard Park! It is immaculate so thank you all you awesome doggy humans! You rock! 😄🐕🐿🐦🐍🦎🦅🦆🦋🐛🐌🐜🐝🐞🕷🦗🌳🌲🌱🌺🌸🌼🌻💐🍃🤸♂️🧘♀️🌞🕶🌈💝
Great disc golf course with 9 holes. The landscape for the first few holes would benefit from improved drainage; the landscape becomes a mud fest too easily.
We play disc golf 4-6x/wk at Orchard Park. We love it. It is well groomed and the baskets are moved around pretty frequently, which keeps us on our toes. This park is easy to get too and one can almost always find a parking spot in the lot if we go early enough in the day. Gets a bit crowded and full on the weekends.
Today we decided we won't go on Tuesdays anymore since that is the day they mow the grass. One mower almost made mince meat of one of our discs today 😅 but he spotted it last second...phew.
