Nice little hidden meadow with some level open spaces to camp out. Access from the road is steep and partially overgrown so larger or long wheelbase vehicles may high-center, but trucks and jeeps should be fine.
Was boondocking in the area and did a hike to check out this campground. Elk River road is paved and in good condition and FS-5325 is in good gravel condition. NF-020 is in moderate gravel condition, passible with a high clearance 2X4 by an experienced driver of rough terrain (not me). Quite passable with 4x4.
The campground doesn't appear to have any recent maintenance. Sites and road have a healthy layer of leaf matter, a tree is leaning over the roadway, and tree branches will rub on anything over 8' in height. Three or four sites that can accommodate up to an overlanding rig.
