We have been here for exactly 3 weeks. The Price is Right, only $500 per month plus electric, plus amenities.
There is a clubhouse with pool table and some other kind of game plus a television and movies and things like that. That's rather nice.
It also has bathrooms and showers, and a laundry room.
It is a quiet safe Park to live in.
The sites are rather close together, so you can hear some of the conversations your neighbors are having.. Other than that, the management seems to be nice. So are the people that live here.
An Amazing place .Great People Great location especially if you like to Fish..
Breezy Palms RV Park is a great place. There is wifi here, a clubhouse, two open bathroom/shower rooms and laundry. Some sites are lived on all year but most are not. There is no pool here. People come here for the quiet. Its busy here for the winter months so reserve early for that.
Patrick finally put in one 10" bar into one of the showers after my asking for the showers to be ADA compliant. I asked Patrick and his 70 +- year old wife Julie, or Julia for over 9 months for the bathroom/ showers to be ADA compliant. There were no safety bars in the showers or the bathrooms. I am only writing about the men's bathrooms and showers. I asked both Patrick and Julie for the bars and was told by both that there isn't a need for them. Very unsafe environment for everyone, especially the elderly and disabled! Many seniors with ambulatory issues come through the park and have to use the bathrooms and showers without the safety bars that are required by ADA guidelines!
As for cleanliness, the bathrooms and showers are filthy. Looking at the floors threw the rubber mats, algae/ mold grows thick. I lived there for 1.5 years and never saw the floors bleached or pressure washed. It wasn't until an individual fell in the showers before Patrick and Julie started bleaching the floors. I have many pics showing just how filthy the place is. What really bothers me is that the health department would come threw and pass them. How could that ever happen in such a filthy place!
Julie, the office worker, constantly states that "the park is a 55+ community and no exceptions"! Two of my friends at different times tried to get a spot here. One person was in her 40s (BLACK). The second person who wanted to get a spot was mid 30s (HISPANIC). Both were denied a spot where Julie told them that "this is a 55+ community, no exceptions!" Julie has personally rented spots to a 20+ year old boy with 2 children (WHITE), a spot to a 40+ year old woman with a child, (WHITE), a spot to a young 20+ year old couple with children, (WHITE). To my knowledge, they are still living in the park.
YOU CAN ALL DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS ON THIS.
