This was a difficult campground to get into. The driveway had a very steep incline. No one was there to greet us.......we found our campsite only to discover the camper behind us was literally being worked on......as in loud machinery etc. My heart went out to the poor camper right next to them who wanted to complain to the campground owners, but none to be found. Only one restroom was open.....it was clean but still........there was a pool right off of the restrooms and if you were taking a shower....there would not be a restroom available to others. Campground poorly run, and it was lickity split getting out of there first thing in the morning. I would not want to repeat the experience.

We Liked: It was the only campground open in Connecticut, anywhere near Hartford given the time of year. It had opened a week or two earlier. Easy access to I-84.
We Didn't Care For: It wasn't a big deal for our overnight but there seem to be quite a few seasonal RVs and they weren't in the best shape. Made sections of the campground look dumpy. Bathroom had seen better days.
Overall Assessment: We never saw anyone working at the office but saw several maintenance workers preparing sites for the upcoming season. Pool and common room were closed (seasonal) but looked decent. Camp roads a wee bit narrow which made backing into spot a little precarious. Would definitely consider for an overnight in the future.
Excellent campground. Good location and very quiet. No issues with leveling the RV and certainly no problems with the driveway.
Very nice campground. I was passing through on way to Boston. I travel in a 34 Super C diesel powered motorhome. I paid $65 for a back in site. Sites are nice and big with some sort of hard gravel that they put down. A nice touch is the picnic table on a wooden deck. 50 amp power was good as was water and sewer hook up. Pickle ball and a creek running through it. People were fishing. I did see a tent set up by the creek. They have some transient sites that I stayed in and liked. Easy to find from route 84. You need to follow directions carefully. The only tip I have is that be careful when you get to the check in point. They have a metal stop sign anchored in a bucket of cement. Their sign says pull out of the way and the metal stop sign is position such that I almost scraped the side of our motorhome. They could move sign to left a foot or so. Also, the speed bumps they have in the way in are pretty big.
This is a Sunday, no one around. Voicemail for contact full. We had a reservation but the site was not level and we could not level. We moved to another site hoping it was ok. Bathroom by the pool had no towels. Seems pretty basic, have someone on site, make sure bathrooms are supplied.
