Perfect place for a weekend getaway. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. Our group had a blast and there’s so much to do like kayaking, canoeing, lawn games, and even sand boxes if you have kids. Owners/staff were also super knowledgeable about different species of wildlife around in the area. The showers were surprisingly nice for a campground and it was wonderful waking up riverside every morning. Loved that our campsite had a private fire pit and a picnic table. Overall, great experience!
Lots of different camping options: primitive, cabins with beds and ac and no running water to one house with lots of rooms and full amenities.
Beautiful land with various animals.
Super close to Ichetucknee springs and Ginnie Springs. Great location next to the river for water play, fishing and scenery.
The site has a lot of great features of you don't want to leave the campground.
We got a basic cabin that had a mini fridge, microwave, beds and AC...nothing else.
We brought buckets to wash dishes. Also brought a propane stove to help the cooking process.
The porch saved us from cooking in the rain.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Deer and other wildlife were present throughout the campground! So beautiful
Beautiful campground directly on the Santa fe river! Not crowded at all. We've camped at primitive site 1 and cabin#7 and we're pleased with both. We like to fish and float in the cool, clean water! Hosts are friendly and accommodating! Very quiet at night and easy check in👍
We loved staying here!!!! Beautiful getaway from city life. We loved our first time here for only a few days so much that we are now staying a week in February. Highly recommend
We really enjoyed our stay at Bowman's Landing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our host and he was very friendly and informative. The location was perfect, right on the santa fe river and very close to several popular springs. Absolutely gorgeous property! Our first night we awoke to see wild deer roaming nearby. The site itself was perfect!! There was shade cover with a canopy of trees the site was so clean!! A very quiet and quaint place, perfect for a family get away. The bathrooms were clean and included everything we needed, although we brought our own toiletries, we wouldn't have needed them. They've got a coffee and tea bar where they've equipped a full service coffee and tea bar with a full size fridge including everything you'd need! The hiking trails on site and nearby are really wonderful, perfect for watching wildlife and enjoying the beautiful views of the campground. The river access points (where the river is so clear you can see straight to the bottom at any point) were in great condition and very convenient to find. We saw a large swing hanging from a tree and a sand hill for the kids to play with, very child friendly place. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again as soon as we can. 10/10 recommend!!
