Our waterfront resort is a place where you can bring your family outdoor experience through camping, glamping, RVIng, cabins, domes and event venue. Its a small park operating from 1938 with modernized facilities owned by the same family for 40 years. Please feel welcome to check out our website at www.bluelakeresortwashington.com
My friend and I spontaneously stayed here as part of a week long trip and we are so glad we chose this as our first stop! We stayed in one of the waterfront cabins and it was amazing. The location is beautiful, the hosts were extremely helpful and kind, and the accommodations in the cabin and for water activities during the day went above and beyond expectations. We will definitely be coming back to check out the domes.
The staff here at this trailer park are very nice. They are young but work hard. We rented a cabin for the labor day weekend. Lets just say the cabin was really gross. When we walked in we found the cabin dirty, and full of flies. There were fly traps and fly swatters all over the place. The water pressure is not existent and it smells of sulfur when people shower. Paying $300 a night I feel like I got ripped off. Lets just say I would never return to this place. Also the internet is worthless it doesnt work anywhere on the property. Cell phone service didnt work their either.
Im sure if you have your own rv/trailer it would better. To me this style of vacationing in gross conditions are not for me. I would rate the cabin at a one star. Ill spend my money elsewhere next labor day!
Excellent service and hospitality from Johnny and the Staff. When we arrived we had a normal campsite and I asked if it was possible to move to a waterfront spot. They immediately moved us to the water. My girlfriend and I felt very welcomed and taken care of. They checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, they brought us fresh fruit and offered us gear for fishing. A nice quiet campground with an awesome view and even better staff. We will absolutely be coming back as much as we can!
Updated review for anyone who saw my recent post. We had a great experience there, and a bit of miscommunication upon checkout that resulted in a low review from me--within 12 hours we heard from the owners and we appreciate them reaching out and working to resolve the issue.
We loved the campsite, we loved the hosts that were there and had a beautiful experience, and now that we have heard compassion and understanding from the owners we are happy to change our review back to the 5 stars I had intended to leave.
Great place for kids, fishing, boating, and very comfortable beds!
We’ve stayed in the both the cabins and have also done tent camping. Quickly becoming our favorite camping spot in eastern WA.
For us, an overall better experience than a state run campground like Sun Lakes because it feels more like an intimate, family run and private experience compared to others. The staff are all amazing, super kind, treat you like family more than guests and work very hard to keep this place clean, sanitary and ready for every stay.
They frequently check restrooms all throughout the day to make sure they’re clean and ready for use. Grass is always watered, green and trash free. There’s a store with anything you need, boat rentals, hot showers and a spacious place to camp whether it’s tent, RV or cabin.
If you’re looking to get away from the busy, hectic state-run camp grounds, but still keep the full amenities of camping, then give this place a try. You can’t beat the hospitality, scenery, amenities and experience of this place. It gets better each time.
