Entire area is open year round. There are no fees.
There are no facilities or services available with the exception of one
vault toilet at Folsom Farm.
Both lakes have concrete boat launches maintained by Washington
Department of Fish and Wildlife (paid in advance parking permit from WDFW
is required.)
Fishtrap is just a 30-mile drive southwest of Spokane, Washington.
From Interstate 90, take Exit 254, and then travel east for 1.75 miles to access the public lands.
It's very primitive but free just an outhouse about 25 places to camp can get muddy
Love that the campsites are a good distance apart. The trains aren't that loud, the sites are very basic. I will definitely stay here again.
I loved camping there, the trails were awesome.
Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the lack of lake access for fishing.
And they had the boat ramp area blocked off.
This is a great place to walk your dog. Take kids for hike. There is a lake two mile in. Its on the north loop trail. There is plenty of parking. There are several shooting sites along the road going in after the south loop parking lot. You can camp in the parking lot or at a few turn outs along the road going in. The parking lot has vault toilet that are cleaned and supplied on a regular basis.
