Room was clean. Bath tub had constant dripping that was very annoying but could not (or would not?, few cars in parking lot) provide another room for use. Night clerk was condescending and not sympathetic to our concerns and was short. Breakfast was decent. Lady greeted us with a pleasant good morning when we entered the breakfast room and she was very efficient and quick in replenishing the food. She alone bumped the service star from a one star to a three star.

Shower and sink faucets were terrible - hard to control the temperature, especially the shower.

The room was clean, nothing to brag about. A thin blanket on the bed - glad I had an extra blanket with me. Told the front desk clerk, who could care less, about the faucets when I checked out. It had been 7 years since the last time I stayed here to visit a relative. This place has really gone downhill in quality, not worth the boarding cost. The next time I visit Fernley, I will probably stay at the Comfort Suites.

Had to make spur of the moment plans to stay in Fernley on Thursday night and chose SureStay for the night. The staff were very helpful and friendly, going above and beyond and they are the only reason my rating isn’t a single star. The room was pretty shabby and run down; damaged furniture, broken charging ports, leaking refrigerator-actually had water on the floor from it. What really drove the rating down was the lack of cleanliness; garbage and debris behind the beds, dust on the lamps. We had to call the front desk a number of times to complain about people in the room above us tromping around like soldiers at 12:00, 1:00, and 2:30 in the morning. We will not utilize this facility again, even though it is convenient and the staff is great!

It's not a Hilton so don't expect the perfect room with great ambience. That being said, it was a well-kept room and everything worked. I decided to stay here because they had free parking (compared to hotels in Reno) and a reasonable pet fee. If your passing by on the I-80 and don't want to pay city prices, then this is a good alternative. Also there's a nearby Walmart to grab forgotten items.

We appreciate the majority of staying at Best Western hotels. Being pet friendly is a must for us, so this fits our needs. My wants includes the spa, which is closed right now, for winter season. Since the separate pool building is new, I get that there are mechanical issues to get resolved. Looking forward to revisiting when we can rest a little better
