Great place for being way off grid. We've been staying here for years on our north south journey. This year we got a dog and they have really awesome dog rooms. I love this place even more. We love the Mexican restaurant there and the casino is small but fun. The staff are super friendly.
Did not stay here this trip. We did, however, stop for lunch at the restaurant located in the facility. I am not passing by without stopping in for one of their hamburgers and fries. My wife is very fond of their fish tacos. You won't leave hungry after the complimentary chips and salsa before your meal arrives. Portions are of such that I am not able to eat it all and still have room for one of their homemade pieces of pie or other deserts. Small casino is right outside the restaurant, but I didn't have time to do any playing.
Free drinks and a free gift when you check in, which is lovely. We enjoyed a margarita that definitely had tequila in it. This hotel is very entertaining with pictures on all the walls of the old west (and Marilyn Monroe?!). One of the first motorcycles ever built is in a corner of the casino. We would stay again. (Great shower pressure too.)
Comfortable rooms and had everything we needed! The whole place kind of smelled like smoke, even in our non-smoking room but I'm not sure if that was because we walked through the casino and got a bit smokey ourselves. Room was quiet and clean!
