The RV park is open all year with just 5 RV only camp spots. All spots are full hookup. The spots are located in the middle of this extended stay mobile home park. Spots do. To have shade or fire rings. Lake access and the Callville Bay Marina is under a mile from the park. The marina has a boat ramp and docks available. Boat fuel is also available. There is a camp store, market, and grill just a short walk from the park. Ice and firewood are available at the market. Big rigs to approximately 45 feet(estimated) can be accommodated. There are no services outside of Callville Bay for over 10 miles.
From downtown Henderson, Nevada. Take highway 564 to the east. After approximately one mile, take a left on Highway 167. After 15 to 20 miles, look for the Callville Bay sign. Turn right onto Callville Bay Road. After approximately 3 miles, look for the RV parks entrance on the left side. The highway ends at Lake Mead and the marina.
The RV park has done a really good job keeping up appearances since the water receded. The garden around the wash house is lovely with a variety of cactus, pruned oleander, and mesquite trees, and the whole array is kept tidy and watered. The residents still have lovely yards, too. The majority were occupied, cleaned, and decorated. Golfcarts washed and boats ready for the perfect fishing day.
Clean park. Spot was a pull through, so... win! No shade, it would be hot as @#!! during summer. (My guess)
Water pressure was excellent. Residents are frendly and it was extremely quiet at night. Only an hour from Vegas. It would be 5 stars if it had any shade at all. But it's the desert, so....
All and all great place to stay. They only have 6 spots for RV/trailers so book early.
