this campsite has six spots with two relatively small. it has a single stall with benches and outdoor stationary grills at every site. it is surrounded by quaking aspen trees and is next to stuart creek. this place is not advised for trailers, as there is a bumpy path to come in, but if you're up to do the job, a small trailer may get in. i went here with my dad to go hunting. we scaled mountains and walked the path and saw no deer! for a camping place, 4/5. for a hunting place, 0/5.

Beautiful camp at the end of a dirt road in the aspens. Great hiking from the campsite. Some sites have creek access. Subaru made it up the dirt road just fine. Don't follow Google maps directions - follow USFS directions and logic. There are some open areas along the road to camp in case you arrived and all sites taken.

Excellent small camp ground right at the start of the trail to the top of Arc Dome. Recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle on the road to campground. We made it in a 4x4 Sprinter without any trouble. The road is never particularly steep, just rutted out in a few places. Campground has a vault toilet and water. Sites on the Northern side abut a creek that was still running in September. Great place to camp if you are planning hiking up Arc Dome.

We went there the first week of October. Nice campground at the end of a pretty nasty road.(Do not attempt to drive this road if it has rained, is raining, or is threatening rain.) Beautiful aspen trees changing color. Stewart Creek still running. Sun reaches camp late in the morning. Vault toilets, tables and grills.
