We had 2 reservations booked for October and had to cancel. We stopped at the store to do so and were told that we would not get our $50 deposit back, even after giving plenty of notice. We were told that we could either pay the full amount and not show up so we would have the opportunity to book those sites again next year or lose our deposit. Why could this not be applied toward another reservation? I will not be going back to this campground. We have stayed there for many years and this just helped me make the decision to never go back. The bathrooms are dirty and most of the times we've been there, the grass isn't even mowed. Riverview Campground is a great option! Do yourself a favor and book there instead.
